I hope you've had your fill of tragic backstory for today. (I can do Frankenstein AND Phantom of the Opera in one comic, you cannot stop me). 

Welcome to Scorpio season! My birthday was yesterday, and what better way to celebrate than my absolutely self indulgent backstory episode? (Don't worry, this won't be the last flashback in this chapter). 

The first half Chapter 5 is actually more about Bonnie than it is about Victor, so you'll have to bear with me a little bit for the next few episodes. But I actually quite like writing Bonnie, and to get a full picture of Victor Entrails, we really have to get to know the woman who created him.

Now that I'm free of my curse, I would encourage you all to stalk me on my socials (twitter and instagram @mayamourning) so you can comb through all of my Colin and Lenore art (I could also throw it into a bonus episode here on Tapas if like...any of you are actually interested in concept art). I've spent a year exploring this backstory and it has WILDLY changed as time has gone on, but it's a kind of dreamy change of pace from the goofiness of this comic (it's really become it's own separate project at this point).
